Price Includes:  4 night's Dinner, Bed & Breakfast Accommodation at the 3 star Beaulieu Hotel, Brockenhurst plus excursions to Christchurch, Portsmouth, Hythe, Winchester, Romsey, Bournemouth, Burley, Sandbanks & Swanage.

Monday

We depart Plymouth at 8am making a coffee stop along the way. We then stop at the coastal town of Christchurch for lunch, nestled between Bournemouth and the New Forest it has roots dating back to the iron age. We travel the short distance onto our hotel to check in and relax before our first evening meal. Your evening is free to relax and unwind, maybe take a stroll through the landscaped gardens after dinner.

Tuesday

This morning we head to the historic city of Portsmouth; known for its maritime heritage and dockyard. There are various museums and attractions to discover although some may incur an entry fee. We return to our hotel making a stop at the quaint town of Hythe along the way. It has a small shopping area, a pier with the oldest operating electric train and a ferry service connecting it to Southampton.

Wednesday

The medieval city of Winchester is our destination today, with its wonderful cathedral which is one of the largest in England and boasts the longest nave of any European Gothic cathedral. It is England’s ancient capital and is also the former seat of Alfred the Great - a striking statue of the King is located near the East Gate. We return to our hotel making a short stop at the picturesque town of Romsey which sits beside the River Test; one of the finest trout and salmon rivers in Europe.

Thursday

We return to the coast today to visit the popular seaside resort of Bournemouth, with it’s 7 miles of sandy beaches, Victorian architecture, traditional pier and beautiful gardens. We then return via the interesting village of Burley steeped in history with tales of witchcraft and smuggling. It has traditional tea rooms, gift shops and thatched cottages all within a tranquil setting.

Friday

Today we must head home, we will stop at the affluent peninsula of Sandbanks stretching across Poole harbour before continuing along the coastal route to Swanage which is situated on the Isle of Purbeck. From here we continue our journey back to Plymouth aiming to arrive early evening.
