Saturday

After breakfast we make our way to the Black Country Living Museum; one of the largest open air museums in the UK. It is dedicated to revealing how the Black Country was the first industrial landscape to be created anywhere in the world. It has it’s own village, with period dressed, charismatic residents who will happily chat with you in the street as you peruse the local shops or wait for a vintage tram or bus to take you around. There are so many places to visit including 2 mine shafts, limekilns, a canal, various workshops typical of the era, the school house and a variety authentically stocked shops . . . All everyday sights during the 19th and early 20th centuries.

Sunday

Today we visit Bath - designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site; offering some of the finest architectural sights in Europe such as Bath Abbey, the Royal Crescent, the Circus and Pulteney Bridge. We will depart Bath mid afternoon aiming to arrive back into Plymouth early evening.
