Price Includes:  3 night’s Dinner, Bed & Breakfast accommodation at the 3 star Queens Hotel, Penzance, which is a family run hotel with a lift to all floors, it is superbly situated on the Promenade with stunning sea views and includes visits to Port Isaac, Padstow, St. Ives, Truro, Falmouth,  Mevagissey & Fowey.

 

* There will be no single room supplement for the first 6 guests to book, extra rooms will be on a request basis only and subject to a supplement of £54 per person.  Early booking is recommended to take advantage of the rooms without a supplement. 

Friday

We leave Bretonside at 9am and head down into Cornwall making visits to two of the pretty fishing villages - Port Isaac and Padstow. Port Isaac, of course was made famous as the location of the TV series "Doc Martin" whilst Padstow is home to the famous chef Rick Stein’s restaurant. We then continue onto Penzance to check into our hotel and you will have time to relax and unwind before your evening meal.

Saturday

This morning we travel up to the pretty town of St. Ives, widely regarded as the jewel of Cornwall’s crown. It is a beautiful seaside town, with a quaint fishing harbour and is famous for the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Museum. We will return to Penzance mid – late afternoon, where you could take a stroll along the promenade and enjoy the stunning views across to St. Michael’s Mount.

Sunday

After breakfast we will visit Cornwall’s only cathedral city of Truro, where you will have time to look around the shops and explore this historic place. This afternoon we visit the attractive resort of Falmouth, with its picturesque narrow streets and bustling harbour.

Monday

Today we continue our theme of visiting quaint fishing villages and call into Mevagissey before continuing onto the slightly larger harbour town of Fowey which is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We continue our journey home aiming to arrive back into Plymouth late afternoon.
