Price Includes:  4 night’s Dinner, Bed & Breakfast accommodation at the 3 star Queens Hotel, Penzance, which is a family run hotel with a lift to all floors.  It is superbly situated on the Promenade with stunning sea views and includes visits to Tintagel, Boscastle,St. Ives, Newquay, Padstow, Truro & Trago Mills.

 

The Winter Warmer package includes a half price drinks promotion between 6-8pm (on selected drinks) and a cream tea one afternoon served at the hotel.

 

 There will be no single room supplement for the first 6 guests to book, extra rooms will be on a request basis only and subject to a supplement of £75 per person.  Early booking is recommended to take advantage of the rooms without a supplement. 

Monday

We leave Plymouth at 9am and head down into Cornwall making a coffee stop at Trelawney Garden Centre. We then visit the legendary King Arthur’s headland town of Tintagel and the picturesque harbour village of Boscastle. We then continue onto Penzance to check into our hotel and you will have time to relax and unwind before your evening meal.

Tuesday

This morning we travel up to the pretty town of St. Ives, widely regarded as the jewel of Cornwall’s crown. It is a beautiful seaside town, with a quaint fishing harbour and is famous for the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Museum. We will return to Penzance mid – late afternoon, where you could take a stroll along the promenade and enjoy the stunning views across to St. Michael’s Mount.

Wednesday

Today we head back up the north coastline to visit the seaside towns of Newquay & Padstow. Newquay has a high street dotted with individual and specialist local shops, restaurants and cafes. Padstow is a pretty little harbour town, most famous in recent years for Rick Stein’s seafood restaurant.

Thursday

Cornwall’s only cathedral city of Truro is our destination this morning. This is a city steeped in history and intriguing architecture, boasting an interesting mix of art galleries, restaurants and shops. This afternoon we return to our hotel to enjoy a cream tea.

Friday

Sadly we must head home today. We will make a final stop at Trago Mills before arriving back into Plymouth mid – late afternoon.
