All public areas of the hotel have easy access with no steps to negotiate and a lift is available to the bedrooms which are all located on the 1st floor.

Price Includes:  4 night's Dinner, Bed & Breakfast Accommodation at the 3 star George Albert Hotel, Dorchester, plus entry to Forde Abbey & Gardens, the Haynes International Motor Museum and visits to Exmouth, Bournemouth, Dorchester and West Bay.

 

 Not Included:  Single room supplement £90 per person (all single rooms will be double for sole use) 

Sunday

We depart Plymouth at 9am and head towards Exmouth - the oldest seaside town in Devon. Situated where the River Exe meets the sea it offers a diverse selection of shops, places to eat and things to do. We then continue onto our hotel in Dorchester where we will spend the next 4 nights.

Monday

Today we will spend a full day at Forde Abbey & Gardens, where you can explore the house, gardens, tearoom, pottery exhibition, plant centre and gift shop at your leisure. Forde Abbey has been used as a film location, most recently featuring in "Far From The Madding Crowd". The gardens are home to the highest powered fountain in the country and include topiary lined vistas, colourful herbaceous borders, an arboretum and bog garden.

Tuesday

The Haynes Internation Motor Museum nr Yeovil is our destination today. It holds the UK’s largest collection of the greatest cars from around the world with over 400 fantastic cars and bikes from the start of the motoring era back in the late 1800’s through to classics from the 1950’s and 1960’s right up to modern day super cars.

Wednesday

We head down to the coast today and visit the popular town of Bournemouth, with it’s award winning gardens in the town centre, the major high street stores and boutiques and beautiful seafront complete with sandy beach and traditional seaside pier.

Thursday

Before leaving this area we will spend a morning in Dorchester, the county town of Dorset, where you can explore this historic market town. We will make a final stop at the pretty harbour of West Bay, which featured as a film location in the "Broadchurch" series. We leave here mid - late afternoon aiming to arrive into Plymouth early evening.
