We stop off for a short visit/coffee stop at Buckfast Abbey, before continuing our journey to Killerton, a fine 18th-century house surrounded by glorious landscape garden and parkland.  At 2,590 hectares (6,400 acres) it is one of the largest the National Trust has acquired (it includes 20 farms and 200-plus cottages).  See the beautiful garden full of colour all year round - with rhododendrons, magnolias and rare trees surrounded by rolling Devon countryside.

On our return journey we visit the House of Marbles who have been manufacturing their unusual range of traditional games, puzzles, toys, marbles and glassware for many years.  Wander around the old pottery buildings with their listed kilns, enjoy the museums of glass, games, marbles, and Bovey Pottery. Browse in the gift shop, glass shop and take refreshments in our coffee shop and licensed restaurant.
