Price Includes: 4 night’s Dinner, Bed & Breakfast accommodation at the 3 star Best Western Manor Hotel, Gravesend plus entry to the Flower Festival at Leeds Castle, and the Brogdale Natural Fruit Collections and visits to Canterbury and Windsor.

 

Not Included: Single room supplement  £60 per person.  

 

PLEASE NOTE:  This hotel does not have a lift but there are 26 ground floor rooms and public areas are easily accessible.  The 1st floor is accessible via approx. 15 steps.  Please ensure you request a ground floor room at time of booking if required.

Thursday

We depart Plymouth at 8am making a coffee stop along the way, before heading to Windsor for a lunch break. You will have some time if you want to stroll up and have a closer look at the castle or just stroll around this affluent town. We then continue our journey onto our hotel to check in and have your evening meal and then the reminder of your evening is free to relax after your journey.

Friday

Today we will visit the historic city of Canterbury, with a skyline that is dominated by the oldest cathedral in England. Here you will find many examples of the best in England’s heritage, award winning museums and excellent shops.

Saturday

Leeds Castle - described as the loveliest castle in the world - plays host to this wonderful Flower Festival. You can see the state rooms transformed into works of art using flowers by local florists, flower societies and clubs, showcasing talents of some of the county’s finest floral designers. The castle is set in 500 acres of beautiful parkland and has been home to six medieval queens of England and a favourite royal palace of Henry VIII.

Sunday

Today we will visit Brogdale Natural Fruit Collections home to the largest collection of fruit varieties in the world, with over 4,000 different varieties you are sure to discover something new.

Monday

Sadly we must head home today, we will make a comfort stop along the way, with a longer break for lunch. We aim to arrive back into Plymouth early evening.
