We start today with a leisurely one hour walking tour of Dorchester-on-Thames; this is one of the prettiest villages of Midsomer County - full of medieval Tudor and Georgian buildings. This afternoon we head over to Wallingford Museum which is friendly local history museum, housed on two floors of a medieval oak-beamed building. A 30 minute walking tour of Wallingford is also included. We then meet at the Corn Exchange otherwise known as Causton Playhouse where you will get first hand information about the series and its characters and hear about the role the theatre has played in the show. To complete your day we head to a traditional 16th century coaching inn where you will enjoy a cream tea.

The 45 rooms on view combine the highest quality French furniture and decorative arts from the 18th century with beautiful English portraits and Dutch Old Masters.
