The Mountbatten Festival of Music features the Massed Bands of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines performing over three nights in the Royal Albert Hall, London. These concerts display the outstanding versatility of some of the world’s finest military musicians. The shows are given the "West End" treatment with spectacular lighting effects.

There really is something for everyone as the Royal Marines display their incredible musicianship and pageantry. A wide range of musical styles includes music from the big screen and superb solo items. The Festival would not be complete without the traditional marches and overtures that have proved such a hit with audiences over the years.

 

Price Includes: 1 night’s Dinner, Bed & Breakfast Accommodation at the 4 star Holiday Inn, Heathrow Hotel plus a ticket to the Saturday matinee performance of the Mountbatten Festival of Music and a visit to Bath.

 

PLEASE NOTE :- A non-refundable deposit of £50 per person is required to cover the cost of the tickets.

Saturday

We depart Plymouth at 7.30am and make our way to Sanders Garden World where we will have a coffee / breakfast stop. We then head directly to the Royal Albert Hall for the matinee performance (2pm start) of the Mountbatten Festival of Music; featuring the Massed Bands of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines performing a wide variety of music, encompassing traditional military marches and fanfares, a classical overture and music from the stage and scene. After the show our driver will take us to our hotel to check in and enjoy our evening meal and the remainder of your evening is then free to relax and unwind.

Sunday

Today we will make our way to Bath designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site; offering some of the finest architectural sights in Europe such as Bath Abbey, the Royal Crescent, the Circus and Pulteney Bridge. We will depart Bath mid afternoon aiming to arrive back into Plymouth early evening.
