Friday

You will have a free morning in Norwich, one of England’s greatest cities in medieval times. It’s a charming capital boasting a diverse mix of arts attractions, heritage buildings, ornate venues, offering a rare blend of historic interest and modern sophistication. We then head northwards to Holt where you will board ‘The Poppy Line’ steam train with views of the countryside and coastline travelling through to Sheringham. We end the day with a short drive to the popular resort of Cromer.

Saturday

Today we will visit Sandringham – the much loved retreat of the royal family. The magnificent stately house is set in 24 hectares of stunning landscaped gardens. The house remains very much as it was in Edwardian times whilst the museum is home to extraordinary collections of memorabilia.

Sunday

This morning we will travel to Wroxham where you will enjoy a relaxing 90 minute cruise on the beautiful Norfolk Broads. We then board our train and travel to the market town of Aylsham, travelling on the Bure Valley Railway, which is Norfolk’s longest 15 inch gauge line.

Sadly we must make our way back towards the West Country today. There will be comfort stops and a longer break for lunch along the way arriving back into Plymouth early evening.
