Enjoy a new twist to this tour for 2017 with a journey on "The Poppy Line" North Norfolk Railway. Combined with the ever popular visits to Sandringham and a boat trip on the Norfolk Broads, there really is something for everyone to enjoy.

 

Price Includes: 4 night's Dinner, Bed & Breakfast Accommodation at the 3 star Holiday Inn, Norwich, plus a train journey on the North Norfolk Railway, entry to Sandringham House & Gardens and a trip on the beautiful Norfolk Broads.

 

Not Included: Single room supplement £75 per person

Thursday

We leave Plymouth at 7am and make our way to Norwich. Due to the time and distance we will be travelling comfort and lunch stops will be kept as close to the motorways as possible. We aim to arrive at our hotel early evening.

Friday

This morning we travel to the North Norfolk Heritage Coast with a visit to the lovely Georgian market town of Holt from where you will board ‘The Poppy Line’ steam train with views of the countryside and coastline through to Sheringham before continuing to the popular resort of Cromer.

Saturday

This morning we will travel to Wroxham where you will enjoy a relaxing cruise on the beautiful Norfolk Broads. The remainder of the day is free to explore Norwich, one of England’s greatest cities in medieval times, Norwich oozes cultural vibrancy. It’s a charming capital boasting a diverse mix of arts attractions, heritage buildings, ornate venues, offering a rare blend of historic interest and modern sophistication.

Sunday

Today we will visit Sandringham - the much loved retreat of the royal family. The magnificent stately house is set in 24 hectares of stunning landscaped gardens. The house remains very much as it was in Edwardian times whilst the museum is home to extraordinary collections of memorabilia.

Monday

Sadly we must make our way back towards the West Country today. There will be comfort stops and a longer break for lunch along the way arriving back into Plymouth early evening.
