Price Includes: 4 nights Dinner, Bed & Breakfast Accommodation at the 4 star Old Swan Hotel, Harrogate plus daily excursions as detailed. The hotel does not have any ground floor rooms but does have a lift to all floors.
There will be no single room supplement for the first 7 guests to book,. Additional single rooms can be requested and will be subject to a supplement as they will be twin / double rooms for sole occupancy.
Sunday
We depart Plymouth at 7am making a coffee stop along the way. We then continue our journey northwards, making a longer stop for lunch. We aim to arrive at our hotel late afternoon giving you time to freshen up before your first evening meal.
DMonday
This morning you will have free time to discover the spa town of Harrogate renowned for its floral beauty, its Pump Room, Royal Baths and curiosity shops. This afternoon we will experience a classic journey on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway. The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway is a 5-mile-long branch line that served mills and villages in the Worth Valley and is now a heritage railway line in West Yorkshire. You will travel from Oxenhope to Keighley a journey that will last about 25 minutes.
B, DTuesday
You will enjoy a relaxing 1 hour cruise along the Leeds – Liverpool canal this morning. This afternoon we continue onto Skipton for its ever popular Wednesday market. Stall holders and shoppers barter with each other along the high street close to the town’s impressive medieval castle.
B, DWednesday
Today we head to the classic seaside resort of Southport, with it’s traditional promenade and panoramic views across the North Wales coastline. With one of the oldest piers in the UK stretching proudly across Southport beach, a walk to the end has views that will take your breath away.
B, DThursday
Sadly we must head home today, we will make regular comfort stops and a longer stop for lunch along the way. We aim to arrive back into Plymouth mid evening.
