The Rosemundy House Hotel is an elegant Georgian residence dating back to the 18th Century and is set in over four acres of private secluded gardens and woodland and within easy walking distance of the quaint and unspoilt coastal village of St. Agnes.

 

PLEASE NOTE:  This hotel does not have a lift but it does have a small number of ground floor rooms which will need to be requested at time of booking.

 

Price Includes:  4 nights Dinner, Bed & Breakfast Accommodation at the 3 star Rosemundy House Hotel, St. Agnes with a Turkey & Tinsel theme and visits to Padstow, Truro, Falmouth, Cornish Market World, Charlestown, Cornwall Gold, Mevagissey, Fowey and a Cream Tea at Healys Cyder Farm.

 

There will be no single room supplement for the first 5 guests to book, extra single rooms will be on a request basis only and subject to a supplement.  Please book early to avoid disappointment.

Thursday

We depart Plymouth at 9am and make our way to Trelawney Garden Centre for a coffee stop. We will make a longer stop at the pretty fishing town of Padstow for lunch. We then travel the short distance to our hotel to check in and relax.

Friday

After breakfast we head for the capital of Cornwall and the only city in the county - namely Truro. You can visit the magnificent Cathedral, one of only three in the UK to have been built with three spires. There are also shops to browse and cafes and restaurants to suit everyone. We then continue onto the busy port of Falmouth, which boasts the third largest natural harbour in the world.

Saturday

Cornish Market World is the largest indoor market in the South West with over 300 stalls - we will spend the morning here. You will find clothes, gifts, homeware, groceries plus much more. We will make a further stop in Charlestown, famed for its collection of ships and traditional appearance. It was also used to film the scenes set in Truro for the recent "Poldark" series.

Sunday

This morning we visit Cornwall Gold, nr Redruth - with more than 18 acres to explore in the heart of Cornwall’s mining landscape you will find amazing Jewellery, Cornwall Pearl and the Tolgus Tin Mill. This afternoon we head to Healy’s Cyder Farm which is a working Cyder Farm with a new state of the art production facility and visitor centre. Here we will enjoy an afternoon cream tea before returning to our hotel. (Guided tours at both attractions will incur an extra charge).

Monday

Sadly we must head home today, we will visit 2 of Cornwall’s quaint fishing villages, Mevagissey and Fowey along the way. We then complete our journey home aiming to arrive back into Plymouth mid afternoon.
