The Rosemundy House Hotel is an elegant Georgian residence dating back to the 18th Century and is set in over four acres of private secluded gardens and woodland and within easy walking distance of the quaint and unspoilt coastal village of St. Agnes.

 

PLEASE NOTE:  This hotel does not have a lift but it does have a small number of ground floor rooms which will need to be requested at time of booking.

  

Price Includes:  3 night's Dinner, Bed & Breakfast Accommodation at the 3 star Rosemundy House Hotel, St Agnes, plus visits to Truro, Falmouth, St. Ives and Padstow.

The Winter Warmer package consists of a sherry reception before dinner on the first evening, one afternoon cream tea and a glass of wine with dinner on the last evening.

 

There will be no single room supplement for the first 5 guests to book; extra rooms will be on a request basis only and subject to a supplement.  We recommend early booking to secure a room without a supplement.

Monday

We depart Plymouth at 9am and make our way to Trelawney Garden Centre for a coffee stop before continuing on to Truro, a city steeped in history and intriguing architecture, boasting an interesting mix of art galleries, restaurants, Truro Cathedral and the Royal Cornwall Museum. We then travel the short distance onto our hotel in St. Agnes giving you time to relax before our first evening meal.

Tuesday

–Today we travel through old Cornwall's old industrial past, through old mine villages to the south coast. We drive through Marazion, offering beautiful views of St Michaels Mount. We will make a short coffee stop at the pretty little harbour town of Porthleven, before continuing on to Falmouth, with time for lunch and looking around this delightful town.

Wednesday

Today we travel along the north “Poldark Country” coast to the pretty town of St Ives, widely regarded as the jewel of Cornwall’s crown, a beautiful seaside town, set in a breathtaking coastal location. From here we return to the hotel mid afternoon to enjoy a cream tea.

Thursday

After breakfast we begin our journey home. We visit the pretty little town of Padstow where you will have time for a stroll around the harbour perhaps and to get some lunch. We anticipate being back into Plymouth mid - late afternoon.
