NEW FOR 2018 - Thriplow is a quiet village situated 8 miles south of Cambridge, but since 1969 it has attracted visitors from far and wide. Each year 7,000 – 10,000 people visit Thriplow for the annual Daffodil weekend. Visitors step back in time, walking the beautiful traffic-free lanes and connecting footpaths, visiting residents "open gardens", craft barns, marquees, stalls and demonstrations whilst experiencing the warm and friendly atmosphere.

Price Includes:  2 night's Dinner, Bed & Breakfast Accommodation at the 4 star Hallmark Hotel Cambridge, with complimentary use of the hotel leisure facilities such as a jacuzzi and an indoor swimming pool. 

 

Not Included: Single room supplement £40 per person

Friday

We depart Plymouth at 7.30am, making a coffee stop along the way, before making a longer stop for lunch. We will arrive at our hotel to check in early evening where you can relax before enjoying your first evening meal.

Saturday

Today we get to experience the "Thriplow Daffodil Weekend" where the village community of Thriplow (approx. 450 residents) work together to create this wonderful event, which is one the best loved charity event in Cambridgeshire. There will be working sheepdog demonstrations, Morris Dancers, a flower festival, bell ringing and organ playing at the 12th century church plus much more to enjoy.

Sunday

After breakfast we travel back towards the West Country, stopping for refreshments and a longer break for lunch. We then continue our journey back to Plymouth aiming to arrive early evening.
