We depart Plymouth at 8am, making a coffee stop before heading towards the medieval town of Tewkesbury for lunch, with its picturesque riverside setting where you can stroll along Church Street, lined with half-timbered houses and famous alleyways. You may wish to visit the museum or beautiful 12th century Norman built Abbey. Built to house Benedictine monks in 1121, the Abbey’s long nave and large Romanesque tower are certainly distinguishing features.

Today will be the highlight of the weekend - a guided tour of the beautiful blossom trail and "Archers country". The "Blossom Tour" was established in 1983 covering some 8 miles but over the years it has grown in popularity and has been extended to a 45 mile route. The trail follows the route of many fruit orchards and also incorporates some of the delightful villages in the Vale. Stops will be made along the route as dictated by your guide.
